Education flooring – flooring for schools, universities and colleges

For over 50 years we have specialised in the supply and installation of education flooring including flooring for schools and university flooring. We’ve successfully completed 1000s of floors for schools, colleges and universities installing specialist education flooring in classrooms, washrooms, corridors, lecture theatres, science labs, halls of residence and sports halls.

School flooring

Flooring for schools needs to be hardwearing, low maintenance and create a safe environment for children. We recommend commercial carpet tiles for classroom floors and corridors because they provide an extremely durable and cost effective commercial floor covering. Carpet tiles are extremely low maintenance and any damaged tiles can be lifted individually to be replaced.

For school washrooms we recommend a safety vinyl flooring which will provide a slip resistant surface even when wet. Safety flooring is highly durable and many of our recommended safety flooring products have up to a 10 year manufacturers wear guarantee.

University flooring

University flooring needs to be hardwearing and impressive to reflect the brand and values of your institution. We offer a range of commercial floor coverings that are suitable for any area in a university including lecture theatres, tutorial classrooms, corridors, research laboratories, halls of residence, sports halls and canteens.

For university lecture theatres we recommend commercial carpet tiles which will provide a hardwearing and low maintenance floor covering. Carpet tiles also have excellent acoustic properties and will prevent sound echoing, especially in large lecture theatres.

For canteen and halls of residence kitchen facilities we recommend a heavy duty safety flooring. Used extensively in commercial kitchens, safety flooring is slip resistant, easy to clean, hardwearing and resistant to hot spillages. Individual vinyl sheets can be welded together to create a seamless floor that’s easy to clean and is extremely hygienic.
